Funds have supported establishing a safe place off the streets where homeless Veterans can drop in, socialize with other Veterans, have a hot meal, and fresh, warm clothing. These are truly significant interventions in an otherwise challenging existence. We see Veterans every day who otherwise have languished alone, and who now come every day; from those whose very lives have been saved to those who seek nothing more than support and encouragement from their serving peers. Soldiers Helping Soldiers is profoundly grateful for the understanding and willing support that Boomer’s Legacy has unreservedly provided.
