On behalf of the Chrysalis House Board, Staff, and the women and children with whom we serve, we wish to thank you for your support of our programs through funding from Boomer's Legacy. We are pleased to have been able to offer a woman’s program, an art program, and a financial literacy program. The demand for outreach services continues to grow and it matters that this important work continues. The programs described have been an incredible success and this work provides far more value to the health of our communities than just the content and duration of the program. Without help from giving community members like you, we would not be able to carry out the necessary work we do.

“The Making Changes program has helped me in many ways. I have learned that it is very important to get to know someone before ever fully trusting them and that there are many forms of abuse that people don't normally pick up on. From this program I can look at a person differently and see the red flags of bad personalities before getting too far into a relationship.”

“Art is one of the things in life that is many things to many people. When I went to Chrysalis House, I felt broken but the Art Program opened my eyes and I started to breathe. With each stroke of a colored pencil or paint brush I would breathe deeper.”
