Boomer’s Legacy provides support to World Orphanage Kids

For the past few years, the Boomer’s Legacy has been a key player in enabling these children to get monthly food deliveries, and a proper education through local volunteer teachers.

Since 2013, the Canadian Armed Forces personnel deployed in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have been supporting World Orphanage Kids (WOK), an orphanage located in Eastern DRC, in the vicinity of Goma.

The orphanage is a key component of the village: it constitutes an assembly point where more than 140 children assemble daily to get an education, and where they can also enjoy a meal.

For the past few years, the Boomer’s Legacy has been a key player in enabling these children to get monthly food deliveries, and a proper education through local volunteer teachers.
